Four Poems - Dean W. Toma

[Other titles in English] [All other titles]

ALL ROAD’S LEAD TO ONE

We’ve travelled many different roads
Through our short time in this existence
Discovering worlds beyond comprehension
Finding their links and connection
Bringing them back together once more
Creating a universal jig saw.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

How do we unite in this world of today
By putting aside our differences come what may
I believe its through sharing our similarities
Side by side we will feel at ease
Understanding and using universal communication
Our spirits is one through cultural unification.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

Once together we can cross-reference our plans
And start moving towards all becoming one again
With our spirits combined, our strength is unpenatrable
Conclusion being quite prosperous and substantial
Keeping it amongst our selves is right for now
After all it’s their turn to bow.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

Simply stating all the true facts
We have to be careful whom we select
This new wave group of brotherhood
Knows it shares the same ideas
Hopes and dreams becoming reality
There has to be something better for you and me.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

So one day when our roads cross and meet
May we celebrate all the joys of life
Whilst remembering people gone before us
And those still to be born to this world
My road has been a very long hard one
Softened by the birth of my son.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

THE SOUL TRAIN’S ARRIVED

I hear the sound of a train rolling down the track
I’ve been waiting for along time for it to come back
Here it comes looking handsome and bright
Just pulling in to load up for one night
As the brakes come on the whistle blows out a loud blast
To announce it has arrived in front of our station at long last.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

So gather at once all the ones you love spiritually
And converge with each other as one big family
Once all the numbers have been counted for
It’s time for us to leave this physical shore
All aboard the conductor says in a pitch very high
This soul trains leaving earth rolling up towards the sky.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

I look out to see earth disappearing into the dark night
The clouds in the sky covering earth with a bright white
The track our soul train is on is that of a rainbow
With unlimitless boundaries for us to travel
Nothing but bright colours and happiness where ever we go
Travelling backwards or forwards fast or slow.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

You see our soul train is connected to all entities
In the end we will fear nothing always feeling at ease
You see when our spirits have joined together as one
No one can enter our soul train and bring our spirits undone
For our spirit is what will carry us through
The way we live our lives both me and you.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

So we’ll turn our soul train around and head back to earth
Give you’s one more chance to listen for all it’s worth
Those who wish to follow mankind will be left behind
Although it may sound harsh and very unkind
It’s our turn to lead now the tide has turned
While those who have lead wrongfully will be spiritually burned.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES.

When we look at the similarities in mankind
It connects us together particularly through what we find
That through sharing our similarities with each other
Both together to reveal and discover
That our walk in life is very alike
All differences aside we can make things right.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

By joining together through our feelings being the same
We can carry on without having to play mankind’s game
There are bigger and better things for us to do
Than get caught up with mankind’s trouble’s like we use to
So let the wind blow our difference’s away
And let’s all be one big happy family everyday.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

To all those who focus on the difference’s of mankind
Your spirits will remain unsettled until you find
That it’s your choice whether to change your old ways
And be ready for the coming of the new spiritual days
So now it’s time to weed out our gardens
Because when he comes there’ll be no pardons.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

You see mankind’s had its chances here on earth
They have done nothing but use and abuse it for all its worth
I have no pity for those who don’t agree with me
For what is in my heart and mind is for me to see
Understanding the history of land, air and sea
All our spirits together can be finally set free.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

So remember you and only you no what’s within your heart
If you focus on differences then I will never let you be a part
Of my spirit that’s been around since the start
To all those that look at our similarities
Our spirits combined and our minds at ease
Finding new directions in life will be a breeze.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

SIMPLICITY

Why is the world of today so complexed
When the necessities of life are food and shelter
If I listened to their minds my life would be helter skelter
My mind was blind but now I see
Exactly what’s going on inside of me
And what I need to do to set myself free.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

Keeping things simple is the way to go
One thing at a time learn to go with the flow
Channeling my energy into the positive
Appreciating everything around me while I live
I refuse to let outer thoughts cloud my mind
All I want to do is give my love to all mankind.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

A simple day to me is when everything is all right
Not only during the day but through the night
I’ll be watching over my family till kingdom come
Any arising matters will be disarmed and undone
You see my heart not my mind is what leads me
Only those in my heart will see what I see.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

This to me is how I keep things simple
I acknowledge and accept the good and the bad of my past
And forgive all those that tried to bring me down
After all it was me who was acting the clown
Playing the role of the dumb master
Clever ah didn’t think I would out last yah.

OIIO OIIO OIIO

So please don’t aim your arrows at me any more
Because I know it ain’t me who’s sour
By keeping things as simple as I can
Then I will know if things are wrong and not going to plan
I’m a simple man when I want to be
Able to be complexed when I need to be.
