. The work of Ben Vollers is characterized by an abstract reproduction of classical architecture and Mediterranean nature. The traces of time, in nature and buildings, are reproduced with an almost sketchy, casual technique of painting. By doing so, an image of monumental strength and of transitoriness arises. Ben Vollers studied history and has a preference for traveling through the South of Europe. He has had expositions in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and Paris, Avallon and Semur (France).
