Debra Woolard Bender, an American artist/poet residing in Orlando, Florida, has concentrated on Asian verse forms since October 1999. Recent genres include haiku, haibun, haiga, tanka, imayo, sijo, and ren-forms in both traditional and expermental forms. She has been published in various paper and online journals. She is an active participant in haikuforum, an online discussion mailing list for poets of Asian genres.
